Industrial Engineer

As an experienced and communicative leader, you will be responsible for the selection, design, programming, and commissioning for all control systems, including new projects and existing systems with a goal on supporting all aspects of product development, plant modifications and upgrades.

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support for troubleshooting, process improvements, reduced cycle time and reduction of scrap capital project development & including support for the plant; mold/mechanical design & process equipment.
• Meeting customers/suppliers and ensuring all planning, timelines and performance capability issues are on track prior to shipment
• Ensuring cost saving initiatives and equipment standardization
• Lead the assembly of control panels and external wiring
• Component selection and purchasing
• Testing and commissioning

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Engineering, Electrical Engineering preferred
• Plastics expertise in injection molding, mold and mechanical designs and process equipment
• Strong technical understanding with ability to interpret technical documentation
• Knowledge of Allen Bradley PLC and HMI development
• Experience in electrical design using AutoCAD
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Motivated and self-driven who leads by example, able to mobilize a team
