A national commercial construction company, ranked very highly as a "Top Contractor" by ENR, is seeking a Traveling Structural Superintendent to join their large project medical / healthcare team. They are established, build in many different market segments, and encourage teamwork every day. If you have experience building hospitals, healthcare facilities and/or medical office buildings, this could be your next opportunity.
As a Superintendent on the healthcare project team, you will be expected to oversee all on-site construction activities, ensuring building is meeting local, state, federal and company compliance. Your ability to communicate effectively with sub-contractors and owners is critical to the success of the project.
Traveling Structural Superintendent Skills/Requirements:
- Travel required - Based on project with regular trips home
- Experience with very large medical / healthcare projects, $100MM+
- Ability to manage self-performed labor
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
- Problem solver - ability to identify and troubleshoot concerns that may arise during project
- Strong leader, motivator and teacher
- Outstanding attention to detail - all i’s dotted and t’s crossed
